Vision Revisited Presentation

In the fall of 2015, parents, staff, community members, Board Members, and students came together to set the vision for the Winters Joint Unified School District.

Each fall, the Winters JUSD community is invited to revisit that vision and review the District's progress towards meeting it.

Vision & Mission

"Inspiring and Cultivating Pathways to Success."

The mission of the Winters Joint Unified School District is to provide a quality education to all of our students, ensuring that the entire educational community actively participate and are valuable contributors to our changing society.

Board Beliefs

The Board believes that...

  • High quality, motivated, and professional staff;
  • Best practices, supports, and instructional strategies;
  • Strong community, business, and college relationships;
  • Engaged and connected families

...are the foundation for an educational system focused on student success.

Board Goals 2018-2019

In alignment with the District's Vision, Mission, and Board Beliefs, the Board of Trustees have developed two goals to promote high expectations and accountability:

  1. All students will be academically proficient as measured by assessment systems aligned with district, state, and national standards.
  2. All staff members will perform at high levels in order to ensure high levels of learning for each and every student.
